Born and raised in London, now residing in the heart of the electronic music scene, Berlin, the musical roots of Iroko run deep.

Having started Dj-ing in his teens, his first love for music began with Hip-hop but this horizon broadened rapidly due to his interest in the art of sampling. This changed even more drastically when he discovered House and Techno music while living in Germany. Inspired by European and American producers and the the local scenes in Berlin, Cologne and Stuttgart, collecting and playing House records soon became an unquenchable passion.

His production skills have been moulded and strongly influenced by Berlin, but there is always the strong foundation of rawness and simplicity which come from his African heritage as well as the early Chicago and Detroit influences.

The same qualities are reflected in his style do DJ-ing, where genres of House and Techno are blended to provide a musical spectrum of colours and a journey into a culture so rich, it is only right to provide all the contrasts in context, making Iroko a unique experience.
