Ibadan - Beginnings Revisited

For a label that claims it doesn't really have a sound, Ibadan Records certainly does have an identity. An identity that has been meticulously carved out of the inspirations of label founder Jerome Sydenham's experiences from his roots in Nigeria, schooling in England and his maturation in New York City; the latter being the birthplace of the label 15 years ago. Ibadan's longevity can be personified through its approach, which doubles as the labels motto: a higher quality experience in music.
