Two dance music luminaries and one icon track is a lethal formula for any release. Jerome always envisioned putting his own spin on "Strings Of Life", an idea which he conveyed to Derrick May while playing with him last Spring in Berghain for an Apotek Records night. Derrick liked the idea and gave his blessing to Jerome to put his own life into those magical strings. Jerome's well known hefty beats bump the track up with a contemporary vibe, while keeping the character and analog crunch of the original alive. Allowing the piano riff and string section to exist in the same space adds a new dimension to the track.  The most memorable elements have been given new life reanimating arguably one the most influential track in the story of Detroit Techno story.
