As the prototypical band for the deep vocal House of the 80s, Ten City have – and continue to – influence Deep House artists across the globe. One of those artists that they most certainly had an impact on is Joe Claussell. Times move and tables turn, with now Joe sitting at the driver seat commissioned by Jerome Sydenham to remix, Ten City's Marshall Jefferson produced classic, 'Suspicious'.

Including new musicians on the remix by no means demeans Ten City’s musical talents, but rather give the track a fresh new flavor after nearly a decade of laying dormant. Jephté Guillaume, Marc Cary and Daniel Moreno add new Bass, Grand Piano and Percussion respectively to liven-up the track and create the true essence of a remix. Byron Stingly’s heartfelt vocals are wisely unaltered.

Joe's second remix however roams away from the originals rigid music structure and with the help again of Jephté – this time on bass and rhythm guitar – mix out a clearer, spacious and subtler version.

This is another classy release that shows that decade old tracks still have magic in them, if you know where to find it.
